Support Breast Cancer Awareness with a Fun Duck Race and a Chance to Win $500!
Pittsburgh Hearts of Steel is hosting its annual Duck Race at Duff Park in Murrysville on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. The rain date is Sunday, October 25, 2026, at noon.
Ducks are $5 each, with a minimum purchase of four. Each duck will be numbered and released into the stream to race toward the finish line. All proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh Hearts of Steel Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team.
The deadline to purchase ducks is Sunday, October 18, 2026. Race winners will receive:
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $400
- 3rd Place: $300

We want to provide a place where Breast Cancer Survivors, of all ages and physical abilities, can gather to share their experience and improve their overall sense of well-being. We do this through physical activity, communication, support, friendship, and giving back to our community. We are a non-profit organization and 100% of all donations are used solely for the activities, education, and needs of Breast Cancer Survivors. We’re here to give back to the Pittsburgh community and share our personal experiences and knowledge about Breast Cancer and Survivorship.
