In addition to ranking #42/125 competing against teams around the world at the 2018 International Breast Cancer Paddling Commission Festival in Florence, Italy, we’ve done pretty well for ourselves in such as short period of time! See below for our Dragon Boat race results:
2019 Kentucky Dragon Boat Festival
Second Place
What an incredible event! It was the 10-year anniversary for this festival and nine breast cancer survivor teams were there to celebrate and compete. Hearts of Steel placed second and received the silver medal.
2019 Cooper River Dragon Boat Festival
A For Effort
We fought hard, dug deep, and left it all out on the water, but we did not place for a medal. We paddled against some excellent Women’s Teams. This level of competition drives us to work harder. Next year Cooper River!
2019 Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival
First Place
Hearts of Steel received a 1st place medal in the BCS Division and a 1st place medal in the Women’s A Division at the 2019 Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival.
